In the registration phase, participants begin by submitting their ideas and business plans on the Binnocup website. Next, a panel of Binnocup judges carefully evaluates and scores the registered business ideas and plans during the initial judging round. Once the ideas and plans have been reviewed and the initial stage judged, qualified teams will be notified to proceed and participate in the event.

In Binnocup 1401 (2023), out of a total of 88 ideas and 19 business plans, 17 innovative ideas and 8 business plans advanced to the next stage after the initial selection. The ideas and business plans presented in Binnocup 1401 covered diverse fields, including health and medicine, information technology, material engineering, mechanical engineering, water and environment, electrical engineering, agricultural equipment and technologies, biotechnology, civil structures, and social entrepreneurship. In the initial part of this festival, 19 business plans took part, spanning various fields such as health and medicine, information technology, mechatronics, water and environment, biotechnology, and aerospace. The participants of the first Binnocup business festival hailed from different provinces across the country of Iran, including Mazandaran, Tehran, Yazd, Isfahan, Golestan, Khorasan Razavi, Markazi, Alborz, Fars, Hamadan, and more.
